Phyllis L. Sorensen, 78

Phyllis L. Sorensen, 78, West Allis, died Friday, Jan. 18, 2008, in Muskego.

She was born July 26, 1929, in Superior to Ralph and Honora (Hiland) Palmer.

She married James Sorensen and celebrated more than 50 years of marriage.

In addition to her husband, Jim, Phyllis was a mother to her daughters, the late Debra (Ken) Norkoski, Cheryl (John) Radke and Jeanine (Mike) Sedivy, and her sons, Don (Kim) Sorensen and Larry Sorensen; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, James (Paula) Palmer; and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Saturday until the 11 a.m. funeral service in the Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronald Olson of Holy Assumption Catholic Church officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery.

A Mass of Christian burial was held in Milwaukee with the Heritage Funeral, New Berlin Chapel, assisting the family.

Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
