A quick burst of snow may drop another half-inch to an inch of accumulation in the Twin Ports through 10 a.m., the National Weather Service reported.

The steady snow, forecast to move into the area between 8 and 9 a.m., may reduce visibility for a time and cause some difficult driving.

Light snow will be possible over much of the Northland today, with high temperatures in the 20s.

Going into today, Duluth has seen 7.5 inches of snow this month, and 8.7 inches since September. That's about 4 inches below normal for the month, and about 5 inches below normal for the season.
