With Thanksgiving in the rearview mirror, everyone can look forward to an action-packed December as the holiday season continues.

The third annual Christmasmarkt at Community Gardens, at Hammond

Avenue and Broadway Street in Superior, kicks off the month of celebration.

Nothing says Christmastime like a fire, cookies and apple cider. Well, maybe presents. There will be plenty of all at the market. Search for potential gifts — for others or yourself — from the Northland and Germany from

several vendors.

There are two days to attend — 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Dec. 1 and noon to 5 p.m. on Dec. 2.
