Meet a true guitar hero when Duluth native Tyler Kaiser performs as part of this year’s Twin Ports Community Concert series.
A classical guitarist, Kaiser is adjunct music instructor for the College of St. Scholastica and the University of Wisconsin-Superior, and composer of two operas, two symphonies, orchestra, chamber orchestra, concert band, and chamber music works. Over the years he has performed with the Arrowhead Chorale, North Shore Big Band and Minnesota Lute Quartet, Lake Superior Chamber Orchestra, Center for Early Music Orchestra, Itasca Symphony Orchestra, and Lyric Opera of the North. He is also a former member of the Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra.
Kaiser strums the tunes 3 p.m. Jan. 27 at First Covenant Church, 2101 W. Second St. A reception follows in the church’s lower social parlors. Free.
