Big Top Chautauqua announces concerts

Big Top Chautauqua has announced a few concerts scheduled for the 2013 season, including the return of Trampled by Turtles on June 15.

Also in the lineup: Don Williams performs July 12 and the Music of ABBA by Arrival from Sweden, an ABBA tribute show, is July 19.

Trampled by Turtles played for a Big Top record crowd this summer. Tickets for the show are $30-$35 and are available at bigtop.org or by calling (888) 244-8368.

In other Big Top news, the Blue Canvas Orchestra has added a date to its holiday tour. Big Top’s house band performs “Blue Canvas Christmas” on Dec. 18 at StageNorth in Washburn. It’s a bit of bluegrass, gospel, blues, folk, a capella, traditional, instrumental and rock ’n’ roll.
