College women's hockey: Gustavus edges UWS 3-2
No. 3-ranked Gustavus Adolphus opened its season Tuesday night with a 3-2 win over No. 8 Wisconsin-Superior in a nonconference women’s game at Don Roberts Ice Rink in St. Peter, Minn.

No. 3-ranked Gustavus Adolphus opened its season Tuesday night with a 3-2 win over No. 8 Wisconsin-Superior in a nonconference women’s game at Don Roberts Ice Rink in St. Peter, Minn.
The Gusties (1-0) of the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference led 2-0 and 3-1, and outshot UWS 28-15. Carolyn Draayer had a goal and an assist for Gustavus.
UWS (2-1) got goals from freshman sisters Karen Larson and Lynne Larson. Goalie Shanley Peters made 25 saves.
