Authorities have released the name of the Wisconsin woman whose body was found in Lake Superior on Tuesday.
Jane Stamstad, 60, died accidentally, the Bayfield County Sheriff’s Office said.
On Tuesday afternoon, a friend reported that Stamstad hadn’t been seen for several days. Deputies responded to Stamstad’s property between Washburn and Bayfield.
