Chargers reach quarterfinals

The Duluth/Superior Chargers defeated Henry Sibley, 7-4, Saturday at Public Schools Stadium to advance to the quarterfinal round of the Minnesota Boys Scholastic Lacrosse Association playoffs.
Steven Halver led the Chargers with three goals, while Brody Carlson chipped in two. Matt Mensinger had a goal, 12 groundballs and four forced turnovers, and Seamus Mackinaw tallied five groundballs and five forced turnovers. T.J. Vallie had 13 saves.
The Chargers meet Delano today in the state quarterfinals.
