Driver strikes Milwaukee horse carriage, flees

Milwaukee police are looking for a hit-and-run driver who collided with a horse and carriage, leaving the carriage driver with minor head injuries.

MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee police are looking for a hit-and-run driver who collided with a horse and carriage on Sunday evening, leaving the carriage driver with minor head injuries.

The horse ran from the scene and returned to its stable a short distance away. It was not injured.

The owner of the stable said his carriage driver went to the hospital with cuts and bruises on his head, but should be all right.

Police don't have a suspect, but witnesses were able to give a description of the vehicle.
