Crash closes westbound lane of Highway 2 near Poplar

A vehicle crash in the westbound lane of U.S. Highway 2 this afternoon in Douglas County has temporarily closed all lanes of traffic, according to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.

The incident occurred at 2:30 p.m. on Highway 2 at Weihe Drive near Poplar in Northwestern Wisconsin.

Details regarding the crash, including any possible injuries, as well as the number of people and vehicles involved, were not immediately available.

The lane reopened as of 4:13 p.m.
