A free Twin Ports Job Fair, hosted by U.S. Reps. Chip Cravaack of Minnesota and Sean Duffy of Wisconsin, will be held April 23 in Superior.
The jobs fair for employers and job seekers will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Wessman Arena, 1810 Catlin Ave., at the University of Wisconsin-Superior. From 9-10 a.m., it will be open only to veterans with special veteran hiring assistance available during the fair. The fair is open to other job seekers beginning at 10 a.m.
The climate for small business and job growth must be improved, Cravaack said in a prepared statement.
“We can do this by bringing together those who are looking for work and employers who are in a position to hire,” he said.
Job seekers can register for the fair, and employers can reserve a free spot there by going here, then clicking on Jobs Fair Information.
