The Lake Superior Zoo has a new logo.

According to zookeepers, the new logo reflects the zoo’s mission: to provide close-up animal experiences that inspire connections to wildlife and action toward conservation.

“Wolves represent the Northland and our strong connection to the environment,” said Peter Pruett, director of animal management. “They represent the success and willingness to preserve a species and their environment.”

The new logo will be used on all zoo marketing materials, advertising and zoo uniforms.
