Paced by Vicky Schold’s 704 series, Superior defeated Duluth 3,058-3,021 in the 33rd annual Duluth/Superior Women’s All-Star Bowling Challenge on Sunday afternoon at Country Lanes North.

Brandi Hasforth was Duluth’s leading bowler with a 688 series.

Superior now owns a 17-16 advantage in the series with the three-game, total-pins format.

Duluth’s seniors earned their own bragging rights, however, by defeating the Superior seniors 2,790-2,546.

Cindy Levy led Duluth with a 642 series, while Barb Hoag was Superior’s top scorer with a 569.
