Snow, sometimes heavy, will move across Northeastern Minnesota and into Northwest Wisconsin late this afternoon and early evening.

The National Weather Service said high winds and moderate snow could reduce visibility at times across the Iron Range, Arrowhead and Twin Ports until about 6 p.m.

Less than a half-inch accumulation is expected, and it won’t last long. After a cool night tonight, with wind chills in some areas dipping below zero, temperatures are expected to soar to near 50 for the weekend and the mid-50s by midweek next week.
