UMD UPDATE
The Bulldogs are 11-3-2 in the WCHA, their best league mark after 16 games. In his last 19 games (15-1-3), senior G Kenny Reiter has marks of .934 and 1.79. UMD’s power play is 0-15 the last four games. The Bulldogs finished 6-1-1 in nonleague games, the best mark since 1995-96 (4-0); UMD was 5-1-1 last season. Sophomore W J.T. Brown leads in plus-minus at plus-21 and in shots taken at 104.
MICHIGAN TECH
The Huskies are playing at Amsoil Arena for the first time. Michigan Tech is 3-7 the last 10 games overall, and has lost seven straight to UMD and is 2-11-2 the last 15 games in the series. In a single game last weekend, the Huskies lost 5-2 at home to Upper Peninsula rival Northern Michigan.
