Illikainen scores 5, leads Grand Rapids-Greenway past Duluth

Molly Illikainen scored her team’s first five goals and assisted on the sixth in Grand Rapids-Greenway’s 7-0 victory over the Duluth Northern Stars in a high school girls hockey game Tuesday night at Grand Rapids.

Illikainen, who signed with Division I Providence University earlier this year, scored a natural hat trick in the first period and added two more goals in the second.

Sydney Helmbrecht stopped all 16 shots as the Lightning (7-3-1) stretched their unbeaten streak to seven games.
