Connor Kanuit had his third hat trick in three games to lead host Hermantown to a 6-1 high school boys soccer victory over Superior on Tuesday.
Kanuit, who has 11 goals, scored twice in the first half and added another to open the second half.
Guiga Ardito, a Brazilian foreign exchange student, had a pair of goals for the Hawks (3-0 overall, 2-0 Lake Superior Conference).
Cloquet-Esko-Carlton 5, Eveleth-Gilbert Area 0
Landen Straub opened the scoring 25 seconds into the game and added two more goals in the host Lumberjacks’ nonconference win.
Cloquet-Esko-Carlton improved to 4-0-1.
Proctor 3, Duluth Denfeld 2
Proctor’s Fredy Benish scored twice to offset two Sergei Hanka goals for Denfeld in the host Rails’ LSC win.
Charles Burns had 16 saves for the Rails (1-2-1, 1-2-1), who won their first game since capturing the Section 7A title last season.

Leah Hamm scored the only goal in the 49th minute and Megan Lazzaro posted a seven-save shutout in the Hunters’ LSC win at Public Schools Stadium.
Denfeld improved to 3-0-1 overall and sits atop the LSC at 3-0.
Duluth East 3, Hermantown 0
Elena Lushine had 17 kills and Sadie Kunst had 13 to lead the visiting Greyhounds to the sweep. Faye Lafferty totaled 43 set assists for East (4-0).
