UWS women romp past Northland in soccer

Local products Chelsea Cossin of Hermantown and Savannah Schramm of Esko combined for five goals to lead the Wisconsin-Superior women to a 6-1 victory over Northland College on Tuesday in Superior.

Local products Chelsea Cossin of Hermantown and Savannah Schramm of Esko combined for five goals to lead the Wisconsin-Superior women to a 6-1 victory over Northland College on Tuesday in Superior.

Cossin had a hat trick, her first goal snapping a 1-1 tie in the 18th minute and her final goal finishing off the scoring. Schramm had two goals and two assists for the Yellowjackets (2-1).
