Duluth: Mended Hearts Chapter 104, a support group for those who have had a heart event or surgery, and their family and friends, meets at 7 p.m. in the Wisconsin Room at Essentia/SMDC, 407 E. Third St. Dr. Christopher Bunch M.D. talks about vascular and endovascular surgery.

Superior: A Ruby’s Pantry food distribution takes place at Christ Lutheran Church, 320 N. 28th St. E. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. with distribution starting about 5 p.m. For a $15 donation, people receive a large amount of food. Bring bags, boxes or baskets to carry it.

Duluth: The Twin Ports Ministry to Seafarers hosts a Blessing of the Port ceremony at 5 p.m. at the Maritime Museum in Canal Park.
