Stark pleaded guilty to this charge on Nov. 6, 2009.

From 2003 through 2009, Michael Stark distributed large amounts of methamphetamine in northwest Wisconsin. On Dec. 20, 2008, police executed a search warrant at his home in Webster and found methamphetamine, packaging for methamphetamine, and a drug ledger.

Crabb determined that Stark was responsible for distributing between 1.5 and 5 kilograms of methamphetamine.

Sinnott praised the efforts of all the law enforcement agents involved in this case.

The charges against Stark were the result of an investigation conducted by the Polk County Sheriff's Department; Barron County Sheriff's Department; Burnett County Sheriff's Department; Barron-Rusk Drug Enforcement Unit; and Wisconsin Department of Justice, Division of Criminal Investigation.

The prosecution of the case has been handled by Assistant U.S. Attorney David. J. Reinhard.
