Vouchers available for farmer’s markets
Seniors can begin picking up vouchers for farmers’ markets starting at 8:30 a.m. June 10 at Senior Connections, 1805 N. 16th St., Superior.
There are a limited number of vouchers to be distributed.
To be eligible for the program, people must be a resident of Douglas County age 60 or older, or 55 or older if Native American, and must meet income guidelines. For a household of one, monthly income must be $1,800 or less of $2,464 or less for a household two.
On June 10, Senior Connections is offering information on how to start your own no-dig vegetable garden. Stop by 1-3 p.m. for the free event.
