Teen safety event features Olympic medalist, local athletes
Members of the Twin Ports area drug and gang task force, a speaker from the Elks and others also share a wealth of safety information on everything from drug prevention and street smarts to bullying with teens ages 13-17.
Drawings for $20 to $100 gift cards and many other prizes will be held during the event.
“We have gotten great donations from the community to make this possible,” said Community Policing Officer Bonnie Beste of the Superior Police Department. “We will have a lot of info for teens and a bunch of great prizes.” Free and open to the public. Parents are not required to attend.
