Lee Kolquist of Duluth won the Nemadji Invitational with a 54-hole total score of 211, tying the tourney record. He fired rounds of 69-73-69 to edge defending champion Pat Fairchild of Duluth, whose 212 matched par. Bob Sundby was the top Nemadji finisher, his 217 good for a third-place tie with Ed Bergren of Duluth. Former Superiorite Jay Hill, now residing in Green Bay, was fifth at 218.
