Superior Rotary selects students Minor, Dallman
Megan Dallman and David Minor, seniors at Superior High School, were selected Student Rotarians for of March by the Superior Rotary Club.
Dallman is a member of the Key Club, the Spartan Dance Line, Pledgemakers, and Senior Mentors. She also participates in the Superior-Douglas County Youth Leadership Program and volunteers in the community. Next fall, Dallman plans to attend Winona State University to study law and society, or psychology. She is the daughter of Robin Dallman.
Minor is a member of Skills USA, the Spartan Pep Band, and the Spartan Archery Team. He is the first trumpet in the Spartan Jazz Band, and participates in the school musical. He is also a Boy Scout and is working on his Eagle Scout project — city park clean-up and trail repair. In addition, he is an altar server at Holy Assumption Parish, and volunteers at church dinners. Minor plans to attend the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities to study Music Education. He is the son of Rebecca and Brian Minor.
During the school year, Student Rotarians attend Rotary meetings and provide club members with opportunities to learn about high school programs and activities as well as the accomplishments and concerns of Superior youth. Each year the Superior Rotary Club awards two scholarships to students graduating from Superior High School. Information is available from school counselors.
