State Patrol arrests Lake Nebagamon man for 4th OWI
A Wisconsin State trooper arrested a 59-year-old Lake Nebagamon man Tuesday in Bennett for a fourth offense of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. The trooper was monitoring vehicle speeds on U.S. Highway 53 near Line Road in the town of Bennett Tuesday afternoon, according to a release from the Wisconsin State Patrol. He clocked the vehicle the Lake Nebagamon man was driving at 94 mph. The trooper conducted a traffic stop and detected indicators of alcohol consumption. Standardized field sobriety test was administered and the man, 59, was arrested. He is also charged with possessing open intoxicants in a motor vehicle and speeding. No charges had been filed in Douglas County Circuit Court as of Wednesday morning.
