Spooner wins Spartan Invite; Northwestern third and Superior fifth

The Spooner Rails girls golf team finished in first place in the Superior High School Spartan Invitational Wednesday morning at the Nemadji Golf Course.

The Rails finished with a team score of 366. Hayward finished second at 379, the Northwestern Tigers were next at 413 and the host Spartans finished fifth at 430.

Spooner’s Dani DeWitt was the meet medalist with an 82.

Superior’s Allie Shober and Northwestern’s Marissa Delvas tied for seventh place with 96s.

Other Superior scores were Kayla Raboin, 105; Amanda Hinaus, 106; Hailey Gronquist, 123; and Jazmine Wills, 129.

Remaining Northwestern scores were Lyndi Graff, 102; Kendra Maki, 104; Kristine Britton, 111; and Kamry Gary, 119.
