Snow bank plays role in collision
A high snowbank may have played a role in a two-car accident Sunday afternoon in Brule.
According to a Wisconsin State Patrol report, a vehicle headed northbound on Highway 27 and attempted to make a left turn onto Highway 2 after stopping for a stop sign. The northbound vehicle, driven by an 18-year-old Drummond woman, turned into the path of an eastbound vehicle operated by a 19-year-old Ashland man on Highway 2. According to the report, a high snowbank on the south of Highway 2 limited visibility and the 18-year-old’s vehicle had illegally tinted windows. Both drivers were alone in their vehicles and both were wearing seat belts. No citations were issued.
