Performance stirs sisters' memories
University Theatre presents the production, "The Memory of Water" today-Sunday and Nov. 22-24 in Manion Theater in the Holden Fine Arts Center at the University of Wisconsin-Superior.
The production is about three sisters, each haunted by their own demons, gathering at the home of their recently deceased mother to revisit the past. The sisters deal with how the death affects them. They drift around their own islands of memory, unable to agree on one particular point, but are unified by their familial bond. The theme of the play is memory.
Written by Shelagh Stephenson, the play is by Cathy Fank.
Students, faculty, staff at UW-Superior and the community are invited to attend. The Sunday and Nov. 24 performances are matinée shows at 2 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Nov. 22 and 23 performances begin at 7:30 p.m. in Manion Theatre, 1805 Catlin Ave., in the Holden Fine and Applied Arts Center.
