NWCSA gives away free milk at Solid Rock
Todd Chevalier carrries two boxes of 2% milk through unopened pallets of milk this morning on North 6th Street. Over 1400 units of milk will be given away free today to Wisconsin residents as part of a gift from Organic Valley of southern Wisconsin. An estimated 100 in need of milk were waiting for the 8:00 a.m. distribution in the 7 degree temperatures. This was to have taken place yesterday, but mechanical problems with the semi delayed it to today. A total of 17 pallets will be unloaded today. Earlier this year, 500 families took advantage of this free service at a distribution in January.
