The Northwestern High School boys basketball team fell to the Bloomer Blackhawks in double overtime Friday night in Maple, 47-36.

The Tigers led by five points in the first overtime period, but Bloomer rallied to tie the score and then put the game away in the second overtime.

Brayden Bartelt and Trevor Paulus scored all of Northwestern’s points after regulation before fouling out. Bartelt led the team with 11 points for the night.

Northwestern drops to 6-4 overall and 3-3 in the Heart O’ North Conference. Bloomer is 10-2, 7-0.
