Music festival comes to Mont du Lac
Hobo Nephews of Uncle Frank present its third annual Northern Train Music Festival at Mont Du Lac Resort in Superior.
The festival begins at 9 a.m. Sunday and features a lineup of Minnesota artists that includes Actual Wolf, Fever Dream, and the Brothers Burn Mountain. Brothers Teague and Ian Thomas Alexy of Hobos Nephews also perform sets of their own.
Mont Du Lac is 17 miles south of Duluth on Minnesota Highway 23. The brand new stage sits in a natural amphitheater setting up on beautiful Mont Du Lac, which also features a new camping area available Saturday and Sunday nights.
There will be a full menu and full bar on sight as well as Beaner's coffee, disc golf, kid's activities, camping, live painting by artist Jeredt Runions and more.
Admission is $10, $7 in advance, and kids 13 and under get in free. Residents of Holyoke, Minn., where the festival originated, also get free admission. Advance tickets are available at Electric Fetus in Duluth or www.northcentralproductions.com.
