Mueller leads UWS enrollment efforts
The University of Wisconsin-Superior welcomes John Mueller to campus as the assistant vice chancellor of Enrollment Management.
Mueller brings more than 16 years of experience in higher education with his most recent position being the vice president for Enrollment Services at Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee.
“We are thrilled to welcome John to campus and to the community,” said Dr. Faith Hensrud, provost and vice chancellor of Academic Affairs. “His experience combined with a proven track record of successfully leading enrollment management teams is sure to be a solid foundation for him to lead and enhance our enrollment strategies here at UW-Superior.”
Mueller received his Bachelors of Science in Natural Resources from UW-Madison and earned his Masters of Science in Education-Enrollment Management Specialization from Capella University.
In this role at UWS, he will oversee admissions, advising, student success center, registrar, financial aid and lead the campus enrollment management plan. Mueller also serves as a member of the Chancellor’s Cabinet.
“I am truly thankful for the opportunity to join the distinguished team at the University of Wisconsin-Superior”, said Mueller. “The university has a long history of innovation and service to the community, and I am looking forward to collaborating with the faculty and staff to build upon this tradition. Together we will increase enrollment through recruitment and retention efforts that leverage best practices, ensuring that more students can experience the benefits of a UW-Superior education.”
John Mueller will begin at UWS on Jan. 13.
