Lake Connections hires Walker, Brodin
Lake Connections announced the addition of two new members to their headquarters team in Two Harbors, Georgia Walker and Josh Brodin as customer support specialists.
Brodin has extensive telecommunication experience, most recently employed as a team leader with a legal support services firm in Tampa, Fla. Over the past seven years, Brodin supervised operations and customer service associates. Brodin graduated from the College of St. Scholastica and recently moved backed to the Duluth area in May 2013.
Walker also has several years of experience in the telecommunications industry, working as a contract administrator for a large construction company based out of Maple Lake, Minn. During that time, she was responsible for contract administration, including obtaining information for telecommunications bids, working with engineering firms upon award, and purchasing materials for projects.
“It is exciting for us to add two new team members to the staff in Two Harbors,” said Jeff Roiland, Lake Connections project manager. “We are closer each day to the completion of this project, and having Georgia and Josh on our team helps build the customer support foundation to service our Lake Connections customers.”
Lake Connections is bringing high-speed internet, voice, and digital TV services to Lake and eastern St. Louis Counties in northeastern Minnesota. The fiber-optic broadband project will occur in three phases, the first of which should be available by the end of the year.
