Kick off the holiday season with Merry Little Book Sale
Have you started holiday shopping yet? Get your shopping done at the library at our Merry Little Book Sale.
The Friends of the Library will be selling gently used books appropriate for gifts on 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. every Wednesday from Nov. 20 through Dec. 18. Free gift wrapping is available.
This year there will be a preview sale exclusively for members of the Friends of the Superior Public Library 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Peak area. You may join the group at the sale. For a small membership fee, you can have first pick of the new books to give as holiday gifts. See you there.
The Friends of the Library meets at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the classroom. Anyone interested is welcome to attend.
For the Thanksgiving holiday, the library closes at 6 p.m. Nov. 27 through Dec. 1. The library reopens Dec. 2. We wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving.
Superior's Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony begins at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 20 in Center City Park outside the library. Stop in for treats and browse the library and book sale while you warm up.
Thank you to everyone who made our fourth annual Trick-or-Treat event a huge success. More than 1,275 people went through our library Neverland on Halloween Day. Be sure to check out our Facebook page for pictures of that fun day.
