Ida Hull, 87, of Superior, died Friday, Feb. 21, 2014, at Golden Living Center, Superior.
She was born Nov. 25, 1926, in Pine County, Minn., daughter of John and Frances (Majeski) Rutkoski.
On Oct. 13, 1945, Ida Rutkoski and Merle Hull were united in marriage.
Ida enjoyed homemaking, gardening, canning pickles and tomatoes, and crocheting. Her greatest love was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Merle in 2003; five brothers and six sisters.
Survivors include her son, Gary (Lynn) Hull, Raleigh, N.C.; daughters, Teresa (David) Moen, Burnsville, Minn., and Kathy (Donald) Krisak, Superior; grandchildren, Taylor Reagan, James Reagan, Scott Moen, Mark Moen, Todd (Brittany) Moen, Lisa (Joseph) Martin and Tara Krisak-Vang (Lavy); eight great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. service, Tuesday, March 4, at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N. 19th Street, Superior, with Rev. Ronald Olson officiating.
Following the service, the family invites everyone to a luncheon at the Upper Deck Restaurant.
The committal service will be held at Calvary Cemetery, Superior, at a later date.
Ida's family wishes to thank Golden Living Center and Essentia Health-St. Mary's Hospice for their loving care and concern.
Memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society and Essentia Health-St. Mary's Hospice.
