Another wave of oppressive, humid heat is set to sweep over the Northland today and Monday.

The National Weather Service in Duluth on Saturday issued a heat advisory for the Twin Ports, Northwestern Wisconsin, Cloquet, Aitkin and Hinckley from late this morning through Monday night.

Temperatures today and Monday may climb to near-record levels in the low to mid-90s, and the high humidity will make it feel even warmer, with a heat index perhaps in excess of 100 degrees.
