The weather has not cooperated with the Superior High School baseball team this season, but the Spartans were able to get in a game against the Duluth East Greyhounds Wednesday in Duluth.

Duluth East had a strong day at the plate and defeated Superior 12-1 in five innings.

“Just one of those games you tip your cap to the opponent,” said Don Dembroski, SHS head coach. “East really hit the ball tonight, and we didn’t.”

The Spartans fall to 0-3 with the loss.
