Fairlawn offers old-fashioned summer fun, ice cream
There will be activities for the whole family — horse drawn carriage rides, games and entertainment, a cakewalk and more. Enjoy hot dogs, lemonade and root beer floats made with real ice cream, all at old-fashioned prices.
Take advantage of this once-a-year opportunity for a free guided tour of the mansion.
Musicians from the Harrington Arts Center perform on accordions 5-6 p.m. and the Fractals take the stage at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
New this year is an Arts & Craft Fair, with local artists displaying and selling their creations.
Bring your own lawn chairs, or spread a blanket on the grass and enjoy a nostalgic summer evening of family fun.
The Fairlawn Ice Cream Social is sponsored by Belknap Plaza, ICO, Lidgerwood-Mundy Corporation, National Bank of Commerce, Red Mug, and Superior Water, Light & Power.
Fairlawn Mansion is at 906 E. Second St., Superior.
