Events rescheduled after the snow
Heavy, wet snow put a damper on many Northland happenings, but some community events are still taking place.
The "Souper-Bowl" supper organized by DECA students at Superior High School planned for Wednesday takes place 4-7 p.m. tonight in the cafeteria.
Everyone is welcome to attend. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for children age 10 and younger.
Proceeds of the event will purchase warm winter outerwear for elementary school children in need.
Business after Five
The Chamber's Business after Five was postponed Wednesday, and now runs 5-6:30 p.m. Dec. 19.
Hosted by National Bank of Commerce and Positively Superior Magazine, it takes place at University of Wisconsin-Superior Yellowjacket Union, 1605 Catlin Ave.
A Toys for Tots collection to support area children and teens also takes place at the event.
Admission is free if you register by 5 p.m. Dec. 18, but there's no need to register again if you registered for Wednesday's event. To register, go to www.superiorchamber.org.
Admission is $8 at the door.
