Duluth: St. Louis County Historical Society invites the public to a free event called “Curiosities from the Collection” 6:30-9 p.m. in the Great Hall of the St. Louis County Heritage & Arts Center.

Saturday

Solon Springs: The Solon Springs Car Show runs 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. next to Dollar General on U.S. Highway 53. The event includes a live radio broadcast, chance to register to win a man cave and a year’s supply of bear. Raffles take place on the hour. A silent auction is held and visitors can belt out a tune with Sweet Pea karaoke. Free.

Superior: A community-wide rummage sale and wish list collection benefitting the Humane Society of Douglas County runs 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Norm’s Beer and Brats, 1901 Broadway St. Wish list items can be found at www.hsdcpets.com.

Monday

Duluth: La Leche League of Duluth offers a playgroup 10 a.m. to noon at Chester Bowl Park playground, Duluth. Children of all ages welcome. Call 218-499-9504.

Tuesday

Superior: A Cancer Prayer Support Group meets 2-3 p.m. at Darrow Road Wesleyan Church, 4020 S. Darrow Road. Cancer patients, those in remission and caregivers are encouraged to attend. Call 715-399-8885.

Duluth: La Leche League meets at 6:30 p.m. at First United Methodist Church (Coppertop), 230 E. Skyline Parkway. Children welcome, lending library available. Call 218-499-9504.

Wednesday

Superior: A Children’s Immunization Clinic runs 1-4:30 p.m. in the Government Center, 1316 N. 14th St., Suite 324. All routine immunizations for children 6 months and older is available. Bring your immunization records. Vaccines are free for children who don’t have health insurance, are on Medical Assistance, or whose insurance doesn’t cover vaccines. A parent or guardian must sign the authorization.

Thursday

Superior: The Thaddeus Kosciuszko Society (Polish Club) meets at 6:30 p.m. at the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, 1710 N. 12th St.
