Today

Duluth: The Christmas City of the North Parade begins at 6:20 p.m. in Duluth. The parade route starts at Northland's NewsCenter Studios in Canal Park, travels north on Lake Avenue to Superior Street and continues west, ending at Fifth Avenue West. The parade is broadcast live on KBJR 6, Range 11 and online at NNCNOW.com. There will be free parking after 5 p.m. at Shoppers Auto Park, Fourth Avenue Auto Park, US Bank, the Tech Village, Medical District Ramp and East Superior Street Public Ramp.

Saturday

Superior: Bayside Baptist Church hosts the ninth annual Bountiful Boutique 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church to support the Ukraine Mission Team. Call 715-394-6002 or visit www.baysidesuperior.org.

Lake Nebagamon: It's holiday shopping time in Lake Nebagamon. Four crafts and gift shows take place throughout the village. The Kids in Nebagamon Craft Fair takes place 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Lake Nebagamon Auditorium, 11596 E. Waterfront Drive. Also stop by 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Lake Nebagamon Lawn & Garden Shop, 6693 S. County Highway F; 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at St. Anthony Parish Center, 11648 E. County Highway B; and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Maureen's Studio, 11615 E. Main St. Admission is free to all shows.

Superior: Craft Fair and Bake Sale runs 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Superior Moose Lodge, 66 E. Fifth Street, sponsored by the Women of the Moose Superior Chapter 795. A lunch is served 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Free admission.

Monday

Superior: Job Club, a job seeker support group, meets 9-11 a.m. at the Job Center, 1805 N. 14th St., Suite 1. This week's topic is "Resumes, Cover Letters and Thank You Notes."

Superior: Essentia Health-St. Mary's Hospital Superior Auxiliary meets at 10 a.m. All volunteers are welcome to attend. Plans will be finalized for the Tree of Lights Ceremony at 2 p.m. Dec. 8. Lights for the tree are $ 10 and are available in the volunteer office during the morning hours. Anyone may purchase a light in honor or memory of someone.

Tuesday

Superior: A bake sale to support the Spartan Bike Build runs 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the atrium of the Government Center, 1316 N. 14th St. Baked good donations can be dropped off 10-11 a.m. More information on the bike build is available on Facebook.

Duluth: The Parent Grief Support Group for parents who lost a child older than 10 meets 7-8:30 p.m., in the 2E classroom Room 2216 by the chapel at St. Mary's Medical Center, 407 E. Third St. Free. Call 218-786-4402.
