RIVER FALLS -- The University of Wisconsin-Superior men's hockey team opened the season with a 5-3 loss to UW-River Falls Friday night before a Hunt Arena crowd of 1,056.
River Falls jumped out to a 3-0 lead with two goals in the first period and one in second.
Tyler Klein's first collegiate goal got UWS on the board 2:36 into the third period and Talon Berlando made it a 3-2 game six minutes later.
