Maple School District seeks public input for strategic plan

Body:

The School District of Maple invites community members to provide input on what the district excels at and what needs improvement.
The district is in the process of developing a five-year strategic plan to survey specific needs and priorities for the district. Public input will be used to develop a plan of action to prepare students for the college and career goals they desire.
Residents of the district are invited to attend a brainstorming and prioritization session 6:30-8:30 p.m. Oct. 14 in the Patricia Luostari Theatre for the Performing Arts at Northwestern High School. Folks will be asked to provide feedback on what is positive in the district, what could be improved and what resources are necessary to reach these goals for district students.
Breakout sessions into small groups will be led by the district’s administrative team. Participants are invited to vote on initiatives they feel should be the priority.
