Senior nutrition

Senior Connections offers hot, nutritious meals Monday-Friday for people 60 or older. Meals are delivered to homebound individuals and served at congregate sites in Douglas County. A $4 per meal contribution is requested, but no one is denied because of inability to pay. Call 715-394-3611 or 800-870-2181.

Next week’s menu includes:

July 7: Tator Tot casserole, mixed green salad, wheat dinner roll, cookie.

July 8: Shredded beef on a wheat bun, broccoli salad, vegetable soup, fruit crisp

July 9: Roast pork loin, mashed potatoes, gravy, stewed tomatoes, wheat bread, tropical fruit.

July 10: Tuna salad on wheat bread, cheese slice, tomato soup, chocolate cake.

July 11: Ham pasta salad with cheese, celery, peas, wheat dinner roll, fruit cocktail, pudding.
