Duluth: A clothing and accessory sale runs 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, Coppertop, 230 E. Skyline Parkway to raise money for Circle of Hope with left over proceeds donated to three other charities. There is a bake sale, children’s books and games and two vendors. Duluth: A rock climbing wall, bouncy house and maze, zoo animals, face painting and crafts, plus Champ and various UMD Bulldog athletes are just a few of the family fun activities available at the fifth annual Northland Community Wellness Day 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the University of Minnesota-Duluth’s Romano Gym. Superior: Vietnam veteran, author and University of Wisconsin-Superior alumnus John Lally reads from his recent book “After Action Report: Poems of the Vietnam War” and talks about how his poetry, which helped him make it through the Vietnam War, is helping other soldiers now. The lecture runs 10 a.m. to noon at the Richard I. Bong Veterans Historical Center, 305 Harbor View Parkway. Free.


Superior: Enjoy an evening of Christian music and fellowship while blessing others. Join forces at Zion Tuesday Night Mission Group’s third annual concert to raise awareness of hunger in the area. The concert begins at 5:30 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 2022 E. Second St. The cost to attend is a nonperishable food item or monetary donation. All food and money collected goes to local food shelves and outreach programs.
