Bridal show offers something for brides, grooms to be

Weddings will be in the spotlight as Lundeen Productions presents the 26th annual Duluth Bridal Show 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Duluth Entertainment and Convention Center.

This year’s show features nearly 150 exhibitors with a wide range of products and services ranging from gowns and tuxes to photographers, music and catering with plenty more in between.

“The Duluth Bridal Show is a planning tradition that helps couples navigate through almost anything they are going to need for their wedding and starting out their new lives together,” said Tracy Lundeen, president of Lundeen Productions.

In addition to the exhibits, the Duluth Bridal Show features a runway fashion show that is one of the highlights of the event. The fashion show begins at 3 p.m. and features fashions from many leading area bridal and formalwear shops. At the conclusion of the fashion show there will be a grand prize drawing for a dream honeymoon vacation of five nights, all inclusive, at the RIU resorts in a junior suite, plus private transfers and round trip air fare compliments of DIVINE Destinations, RIU, Funjet Vacations and the Duluth Bridal Show.

Back by popular demand is the Benna Ford/Roush Man Cave.

“As more and more men attend the show each year, we want to add a little fun for the guys. If they get tired of walking around the exhibit hall, they’ll be able to enjoy a beverage and watch sports on one of several flat screen TVs set up at the show,” Lundeen said. “There will also be prizes just for the grooms.”

Tickets are $10.

The Duluth Bridal Show is sponsored by FOX21-TV, the Suites in Canal Park, Barker’s Island Inn and presented by Lundeen Productions.
