Duluth: The senior high honor orchestra performs in Weber Music Hall at the University of Minnesota Duluth. Free.

Saturday

Superior: Barker's Island Farmers Market runs 9 a.m. to noon in the parking lot adjacent to the Superior Festival Park and SS Meteor.

Sunday

Duluth: Pilgrim Congregational Church, 2310 E. Fourth St., hosts a free Harry Potter-themed Halloween party 5:30-8 p.m. for the community. Explore Diagon Alley, Hogsmeade, the Forbidden Forest and the Hogwarts Castle where there will be a myriad of activities and games ranging from silly to scientific and spanning three floors. No dementors please — nonviolent costumes only. Donations gladly accepted to raise money for the Chester Bowl day camp and ski scholarships and cover party costs.

Monday

Duluth: Abria Stewart and Anthony Puglisi perform a student recital in Weber Music Hall at the University of Minnesota Duluth. Free.

Tuesday

Superior: Network with other job seekers during Job Club at 9:30 a.m. at the Superior Job Center, 1805 N. 14th St. The center hosts a free, real career workshop at 10:30 a.m.

Solon Springs: The Solon Springs PTA hosts a Halloween Carnival 6-8 p.m. at the school, 8993 E. Baldwin Ave. This free event for the kids features games, raffles and prizes.
