Now she talks about her experienced in northern Syria where she witnessed the liberation of the city of Kobani, a Kurdish city in northern Syria, held by the Islamic State. Duluth: Dr. William Hodapp will open the College of St. Scholastica School of Arts and Letters Colloquium Series at 3:40 p.m. in Room 4119 of Tower Hall with a presentation, "Experimental Archaeology, Performance, and Pilgrimage: El Camino de Santiago in 2016 and the 12th Century Fleury Peregrinus Play." It explores the concept of a religious pilgrimage, which was seen across Judaism, Christianity and Islam in medieval cultures.
