Are you looking for an opportunity to join a book club? The library has a book club that meets the first Tuesday of every month at 10:30 a.m. The book selection for the May 2 meeting is "Iron Lake" by William Kent Krueger. For our June meeting we'll be reading "Still Alice" by Lisa Genova. Copies of the selected book can be picked up at the circulation desk. All are invited to join us for a spirited book discussion.
Children's storytime will continue through the summer at 10:30 a.m. every Tuesday, and will feature stories about gardening, bugs, colors, the zoo, construction and more. On May 4, children will have the opportunity to meet real baby chicks at story time! If your young reader needs a little practice reading aloud, come to Read to a Dog at 4 p.m. May 10 and read to Tanzy, a therapy dog certified through Therapy Dogs International.
